This is a page for brainstorming ideas for the next Chromatic:
Who should we try to get as a keynote speaker?
(There can be up to two keynotes at Chromatic II. Each will be 1 hr, including Q&A)
- Aaron Marcus (expert on symbiotics and designing for different cultures)
- Cordell Radcliff (was lead designer on OS X)
- Kevin Mullet (author of Designing Visual Interfaces and was lead designer at Macromedia)
- Don Norman (Design of Everyday Things)
- Eric Hope or John Geleynse (User Experience Evangelists for Apple)
- Wil Shipley - [Heather will approach]
- Steve Wozniak
- Bruce Toganazini
- Sarah B. Nelson, Paula Wellings (of Adaptive Path)
- Emily Chang (of Ideacodes, Emily Chang, and PicoCool) - Already into it!
- Steve Dekorte (dekorte.com) (independent software vender, hacker, creator of IO programming language, creator of many open source programs, at the same time a designer)
- Tuan-Anh: I have approached Steve, and he has agreed to give a talk if Chromatic is interested. Please confirm that we want him to give talk so that I can get back to him.
* If you know or are otherwise associated with anyone on this list and plan to approach them directly, please make a note of it next to their name and write to timoni at timoni dot org and CC heather dot rasley at gmail on all replies to get the rundown of key points to include in your request. Thanks!

Any of your three under "easy-ish" would be great. I definitely would like to hear from Aaron Marcus.
Hope and Geleynese, and of course Wozniak would be great.
Keeping in line with the interface theme: Sarah B. Nelson, Paula Wellings (of Adaptive Path); Emily Chang (of Ideacodes, Emily Chang, and PicoCool).

@ayana: All of those sound great. Please feel free to edit the page and add them to the list. I've approached Emily Chang and she is interested. In fact, she did some great promo for us on Twitter before Chromatic I!
